Anne brings to the team her love of healing, herbs and compassionate touch.. She is a University of Florida graduate who initially worked in the mental health field for a number of years. In continuing her quest of health and education, she started her massage therapy training at The Florida School of Massage in Gainesville, Florida. She has held a successful Bodywork and Craniosacral practice in Gainesville for the past 17 years as well as being an instructor at The Florida School of Massage during that time. She delights in introducing the art of healing touch to her students. Anne is an Herbalist and her coursework includes apprenticing and studying with world-renowned herbalist, Rosemary Galdstar and numerous other top herbalists. At LifeThyme, Anne will offer individual herbal consultations for improved health and vitality. She will teach classes in herbal education and preparation. She will offer therapeutic massage and bodywork including injury recovery and pain management. Anne specializes in Craniosacral Work and has practiced and taught in this specialty for the past decade. Her training was through The Milne Institute in California. Her goal is to help each person find their way back to balance and enjoy life in a happier and healthier way. In our Café, Anne will oversee the running of the coffee and tea bar along with the herbal product line.

Carola Cooper, BS

Carola holds the position of Wellness Director at LifeThyme Café and Wellness. With her diverse background in Exercise Science, Athletic training, coaching and her own athletic achievements, Carola brings an excellent combination of attributes to manage and direct the massage therapy and personal/functional training portion of LifeThyme Wellness. Her focus is to create individual health and fitness programs allowing each person to achieve their own personal goals. Her unique style of personal training can include massage therapy, facilitated stretching and movement, functional core training and strength conditioning. Her personal motto is: Train for Life. Her education includes a degree in Exercise Science from McMaster University in Canada and massage certification and licensing from The Florida School of Massage in Gainesville, Florida. Carola has also had other specialized training in core conditioning with The CHEK Institute in California and Active Release Technique with Dr. P. Michael Leahy, DC, CCSP in Colorado. Before joining LifeThyme, Carola owned her own therapeutic massage and personal training business and worked with clients to achieve their optimal physical health through stretching, strengthening and massage therapy. She also managed and directed a large sailing center that taught children and adults sailing skills from beginner to advanced levels. Helping people discover their potential and capabilities was most rewarding for her. She is excited to continue that education at LifeThyme.
